Basketball Recap: Ellenville Piles Up the Points Against Liberty

Ellenville put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Liberty Indians 61-22. With the Blue Devils ahead 31-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Ellenville was led to victory by Nevaeh Ramos and Mariah Kinscy. Ramos posted 15 points in addition to six assists and six boards, while Kinscy had 17 points along with five boards and five steals. Those six assists gave Ramos a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nashaly Vera, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Ellenville pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Ellenville will host Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will head out to square off against Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
