Basketball Recap: Old Plank Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Old Plank Christian Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the Harvest Community Warriors, falling 81-38. The Defenders were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

As for Harvest Community, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games.

Logan Reese went supernova, going 9-for-19 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. Reese is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Jayden Oseni was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Old Plank Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-40 defeat against Covenant School of Jacksonville on the 4th. As for Harvest Community, they have also already played their next game, a 66-56 loss against St. Johns Country Day on the 2nd.
