Volleyball Recap: Eldon Now 13-1 over Last 14 Games

Eldon's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the California Pintos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Eldon can attribute much of their success to Sarah Tompkins, who had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Tompkins has posted over her last eight matches.

Despite the loss, California had strong showings from Amelia Motley, who had nine digs and three assists, and Kayleigh Ward, who had eight digs.

Eldon is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for California, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9-4.

As of now, neither Eldon nor the Pintos have any future games scheduled.
