Baseball Recap: Putnam City Comes Up Short

Putnam City fell victim to Edmond Memorial and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 12-0. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Putnam City's loss dropped their record down to 5-35. As for Edmond Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 31-6.

Putnam City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Moore on the 7th. As for Edmond Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Edmond North on the 7th.
