Baseball Recap: Lancaster Mennonite Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lancaster Mennonite's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Northern Lebanon Vikings on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blazers of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lancaster Mennonite saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reuben Gingrich, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Lancaster Mennonite now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northern Lebanon, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster Mennonite will challenge La Academia Charter at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern Lebanon, they will take on Columbia at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
