Basketball Game Preview: North Valley Christian Academy Lions vs. The Gregory School Hawks

The North Valley Christian Academy Lions will head out to square off against The Gregory School Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Valley Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while The Gregory School will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, North Valley Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Trivium Prep, but they still walked away with a 38-34 victory.

Meanwhile, The Gregory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Baboquivari, falling 56-30. The Hawks were down 49-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

North Valley Christian Academy will need focus on slowing down Rose Pisetsky, one of several The Gregory School players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 13 points and six rebounds. Pisetsky has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played. Sofia Arias-White was another key player, putting up six points.

North Valley Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for The Gregory School, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
