Basketball Recap: Mesa's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mesa had won three straight games and Taylor Morris did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Mesa Jackrabbits came out on top against the Mountain View Toros by a score of 49-38 thanks to Morris, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game.

Tilley Cummard was another key player, putting up a point along with 11 boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Mesa pushed their record up to 16-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.
