Soccer Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon was the 3-1 winner over Grant when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Sheldon Huskies fell 3-1 to the Grant Pacers on Tuesday. The loss was the Huskies' first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Johann Aguilar, which was the first he's scored this season.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Grant, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheldon will venture away from home to challenge Liberty Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty Ranch's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Sheldon's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Grant, they will head out on the road to take on Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
