Basketball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline lost against DeSoto back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Skyline Raiders fell 61-48 to the DeSoto Eagles. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Skyline's record now sits at 6-18. As for DeSoto, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

Skyline won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Horn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is facing Horn at the right time seeing as Horn is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for DeSoto, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season.
