Soccer Recap: Miami Springs Takes a Loss

Miami Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Hawks have lost by exactly eight goals.

Miami Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Booker T. Washington, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

After both having extra time off, Miami Springs and Hialeah-Miami Lakes will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 3:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Booker T. Washington, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mourning at 2:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
