Basketball Recap: Sturgeon Bay Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Sturgeon Bay came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 58-43 win over the Gibraltar Vikings on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Clippers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Sturgeon Bay's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Gibraltar, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sturgeon Bay will venture away from home to face off against Southern Door at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Door knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Sturgeon Bay likes a good challenge.
