Soccer Recap: Argos Beats Culver Community for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Argos). Everything went their way against the Culver Community Cavaliers on Saturday as they made off with a 6-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Argos' offense was hitting Culver Community from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kenyan Beldon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win was the fifth in a row for Argos, bringing their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. As for Culver Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argos will host Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Culver Community, they will face off against North Miami at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
