On Saturday, Rich Township faced Benet Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Rich Township Raptors took a hard 73-56 fall against the Benet Academy Redwings. The Raptors' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Rich Township lost, don't look at Al Brooks. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 14 en route to 14 points along with six assists and six boards. The dominant performance gave Brooks a new career-high in assists. Jayden Williams was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Rich Township's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Benet Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-4.
