Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Legacy Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Briarwood Mustangs by a score of 29-19. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-23 back in January.

Legacy Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.3 points per game. As for Briarwood, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Legacy Christian Academy and Briarwood will both be playing Brazosport Christian the next time they take the court. Legacy Christian Academy will host Brazosport Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Briarwood will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on February 10th.
