Basketball Recap: Kewaunee Takes a Loss

Kewaunee suffered their closest loss since January 14th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Oconto Blue Devils by a score of 57-54. The Storm were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 79-61.

Kewaunee's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Oconto, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kewaunee will venture away from home to face off against Sturgeon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oconto, they will head out on the road to square off against Coleman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
