Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Raiders vs. WestSide Renegades

Liberty hasn't had much luck against WestSide recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Liberty Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the WestSide Renegades at 7:00 p.m. Liberty will be strutting in after a victory while WestSide will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Liberty didn't have too much trouble with Man as they won 50-36.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liberty to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe MCghee, who posted 15 points. Ava Yates was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

Liberty was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, WestSide was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by James Monroe 59-32.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for WestSide, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
