Spectrum barely beat Math & Science Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Sting were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dragons on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Sting, who have now won three games in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Spectrum took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-15.

Spectrum's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Math & Science Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spectrum will take on Heritage Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Math & Science Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Eagle Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
