Football Recap: Knight Find Success + How To Watch

Knight lost to Rosamond back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hawks came out on top against the Roadrunners by a score of 39-26. Considering the Hawks' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Blake Sias was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Knight was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 325 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

When it comes to explaining why Rosamond lost, don't look at Robert Evans. Despite the final result, he rushed for 53 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and one score. Isreal Valero also helped out with an impressive 97 receiving yards.

Knight's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Rosamond, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Knight didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-6 win against Antelope Valley on the 19th. As for Rosamond, they have also already played their next game, a 54-30 defeat against Foothill on the 19th.
