Terry Sanford found a leader in Jonathan Pate as the team took down Triton on Tuesday. Pate produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Pate's strong effort led Terry Sanford over Triton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Terry Sanford is 8-1 against Triton going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
