Volleyball Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sugar Creek Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Jackson Day Mariners, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mariners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Sugar Creek Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Jackson Day, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sugar Creek Charter will challenge Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Day, after both having extra time off, they and The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
