Football Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Orchard Park's Winning Streak

After soaring to 33 points the game before, Orchard Park was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 24-7 bruising from the Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East Tigers. The game marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jimmy Valentine had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 190 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry for Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East. Valentine's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards. Jack Eskridge did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 95 receiving yards.

The defeat snapped Orchard Park's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. As for Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
