On Thursday, Chapel Hill got the win against Williams by a conclusive 50-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chapel Hill.
Chapel Hill was led to victory by Ben Cohen Vogel and David Mirikwe . Cohen Vogel scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds, while Mirikwe scored 18 points. The contest was Mirikwe 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Kreig, who scored 3 points along with 4 steals.
Chapel Hill's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Williams, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapel Hill will take on Eastern Alamance at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern Alamance is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Williams, they will look to defend their home court on December 8th against Northeast Guilford at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Northeast Guilford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
