Volleyball Recap: Neosho Takes a Loss

Neosho lost against Glendale back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Neosho was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-22, 25-16.

Ava Underwood was the offensive standout of the game as she had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. Kenzie St. Clair also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Neosho's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-2. As for Glendale, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neosho will venture away from home to square off against Kickapoo at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glendale, they will head out to challenge Republic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
