Game recap: Eastern Hancock High School Football Team bests Union City

Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, Ind.) beat Union City (Ind.) 78-20 after a solid game from Spencer Gilbert, who rushed for six touchdowns. The scores gave the senior 33 touchdowns for the year.

After taking the lead on a Gilbert touchdown run in the first quarter, the Royals were up 48-15 at the half.

Eastern Hancock expanded its lead to 60 points entering the fourth quarter. EH scored four times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Logan Splater to Sam Carlton.

With the win the Charlottesville school extended its winning streak to 10 games. Eastern Hancock defeated Tindley 72-6 last week.

Gilbert was the top performer for the Royals. He has now scored 33 touchdowns on the season.
