Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Otsego's Winning Streak

After a string of five wins, Otsego's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Lake Flyers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-17.

Otsego's loss came despite strong showings from Molly Kramer and Cassie Bunde. Kramer had 17 digs, while Bunde had 21 assists and four digs. Bunde has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.

Otsego's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Otsego will square off against rival Maumee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake is set to challenge their familiar foe Oak Harbor at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
