Soccer Recap: Southwestern Randolph Comes Up Short

Southwestern Randolph lost against Trinity back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Southwestern Randolph Cougars lost 3-0 to the Trinity Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 116th).

This is the second loss in a row for Southwestern Randolph and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Trinity, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2-1.

Southwestern Randolph has already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Randleman on the 19th. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Uwharrie Charter Academy on the 19th.
