Recap: Udall Eagles vs. Flinthills Mustangs
The Udall Eagles lost against the Flinthills Mustangs two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Udall fell 46-34 to the Mustangs. Udall has struggled against the Mustangs recently, as their contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Udall's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Korie Bird, who scored six points, and Ciara Hopkins who scored four points along with three steals.
Udall dropped their record down to 4-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Flinthills, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
Udall will head out on the road to face off against the Cardinals on Tuesday. South Haven will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Flinthills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bluejays at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Caldwell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Mustangs are ranked 143rd).
