Football Recap: Sulphur Skates Past Cache with Ease

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Sulphur took their game with ease, bagging a 42-7 victory over Cache. The win was just business as usual for Sulphur, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Kale Brakefield was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 319 yards and four TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 34 yards. Sulphur's leading receiver Bridge Barrett was Brakefield's top target yet again, picking up 116 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Sulphur's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cache, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Sulphur and Cache will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will face off against rival Perkins-Tryon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cache is set to take on their familiar foe Elk City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
