 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hammond Academy of Science & Tech can now relate to. They lost  13-2 to the Washington Township Senators on Thursday. The  loss   continues a  trend for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech in their matchups with Washington Township: they've now lost three in a row.
 Hammond Academy of Science & Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Janelli Perez, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Perez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.  Love'Lee Madera was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 On Washington Township's side,  Clair Klinger was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Maddie Winchip, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
 Hammond Academy of Science & Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Washington Township,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-13.
 Hammond Academy of Science & Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington Township, they are on the road again  on Friday to play Morgan Township at 4:30  p.m. Washington Township will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
