Fans got a thrill when Austin Caldron and Javier Rodriguez connected against Central Valley. The longest such play in Central California AA this season, the connection resulted in 57 yards.
Marcus Zuniga of Big Valley Christian ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against Delhi last week. Zuniga ran for 82 yards on the play and finished with 124 on the day as his team fell to the Hawks.
Brookside Christian's dynamic duo of Caldron and Edrico Oliver Jr. proved tough for the Hawks to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Caldron threw for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns and Oliver Jr. had 65 yards receiving.
The Knights' dynamic duo of Caldron and Oliver Jr. proved to be unstoppable against Central Valley, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He was 17-31 with 2 interceptions.
Estevon Herrera was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 142 yards on 15 carries as Stone Ridge Christian fell to Jason McCloskey's team. Teammate Jaime Trevino added to the ground attack by rushing for 40 yards.
Caldron put up the best numbers in passing as Sam Sears' team lost to the Hawks.
Kimo Maio made the biggest impact on defense this week as Big Valley Christian fell to Delhi. The 6-foot-0 junior.
Oliver Jr. was the best wideout in Central California AA this week as the Knights fell to Central Valley.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Brookside Christian's Caldron and Oliver Jr. have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Caldron has thrown for 241 yards this season, while Oliver Jr. has 5 catches for 65 yards. David Barton from Larry Shimel's team leads the league in rushing with 213 yards.
Elliot Christian fell to Ripon Christian 69-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
