Volleyball Recap: Weld Central Comes Up Short

Weld Central lost against Resurrection Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-12.

Katelyn Nuanes paced Weld Central's offense, picking up six kills. Nuanes got some help from Adalyn Cook and her eight assists.

Weld Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Resurrection Christian, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0.

Weld Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Frontier Academy on the 14th. As for Resurrection Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Strasburg on the 14th.
