Football Recap: Mira Loma Matadors vs. Valley Vikings

It's playoff time, and Mira Loma had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Valley Vikings to the tune of 56-14 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Matadors, who have now won eight matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Mira Loma's win came down to the chemistry between Deangelo Keys and his top target Keion Kado. Keys threw for 233 yards and three TDs on only 11 passes while Kado picked up 199 receiving yards and three scores. Kado really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 95 yards. Ceasar Diaz made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Mira Loma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kayden Brown and Diaz. Diaz got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
