Recap: American Heritage Academy Patriots vs. Round Mountain Knights
The American Heritage Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 72-55 bruising from Round Mountain. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Round Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keiran Swafford, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Bullington, who scored 17 points.
American Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Round Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Innovations International at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th. Round Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Beatty at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Beatty has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2.
