Hillsdale is 8-2 against Jonesville since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Hillsdale Hornets will face off against the Jonesville Comets at 7:15 p.m. Hillsdale has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three matches.

Last Thursday, Hillsdale came up short against East Jackson and fell 72-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (61), the Hornets still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Jonesville took a blow against Madison on Thursday, falling 56-27. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Trojans are ranked 100th).

Jonesville has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. Hillsdale's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-12.

Hillsdale didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Jonesville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory. Will Hillsdale repeat their success, or does Jonesville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
