Having just played yesterday, the Idea Timberwolves will get right back to it and host the Bard Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Idea has given up an average of 58.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Idea is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. The matchup between the Timberwolves and Washington Leadership Academy didn't end well, with the Timberwolves falling 69-53. Timberwolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Knights since Thursday.
Bard kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of KIPP DC Legacy College Prep.
Idea will have to keep a close watch on Travoda Jagne and Tony Evans, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bard's prior game. Jagne went 5-for-10 to rack up 21 points, while Evans posted nine points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Wright, who earned seven points and seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Idea and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Bard, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
