Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Andrew Jackson Academy

Andrew Jackson Academy waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wagener-Salley War Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andrew Jackson Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than McKinnley Beard, who had eight kills, six aces, and one block. Beard has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 24 times she's played. Bella Carrigg was another key player, getting 11 assists and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Andrew Jackson Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.
