Baseball Recap: Tioga Find Success

Tioga lost to Lindsay back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Tioga Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lindsay Knights a 12-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the match before.

Slade Babbitt made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Babbitt was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Landon Bingham was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Gage Anderson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

The win got Tioga back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Tioga will host Era at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindsay, they will head out on the road to face off against Pilot Point at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
