Basketball Recap: Amador Comes Up Short

Amador lost against Liberty Ranch back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Amador Buffaloes lost to the Liberty Ranch Hawks at home by a 59-45 margin.

Liberty Ranch got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Derek Nelson out in front who posted 11 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Blevins, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards.

Amador has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Liberty Ranch, their record now sits at 7-8.

Amador will face off against Rosemont at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Ranch, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-49 defeat against Woodland Christian on the 11th.
