Dynamic duo of Keaton Fattig and Payton Stienike lead Brady to victory

Recap: Brady Eagles vs. Arthur County Wolves

After losing to the Arthur County Wolves the last time they met, the Brady Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Brady secured a 38-34 W over Arthur County on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brady.

Leading Brady to victory were Keaton Fattig and Payton Stienike. Fattig scored eight points along with five assists and two steals, while Stienike scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stienike has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Arthur County still got an impressive performance from Jaedin Johns, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 35.3% of Arthur County's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Laynee Ohm, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

Even though they lost, Arthur County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brady only pulled down six offensive rebounds.

Brady now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Arthur County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brady will face off against Maxwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arthur County, they will head out on the road to challenge Mullen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Mullen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
