Racine Park had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They took down the Burlington Demons 59-45. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

It was another big night for Ellie Khreish, who went 10 for 17 on her way to 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Betker, who went 5 of 10 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

Racine Park's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Burlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Racine Park will take on Racine Case in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burlington and Elkhorn will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
