Flatirons Academy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Gilpin County Eagles 3-0. The Bison have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-17.

Brylin Gomer paced Flatirons Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Gomer got some help from Lexi Richman and her 26 assists. Everly Haynes controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Flatirons Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Gilpin County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Flatirons Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Dawson School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gilpin County will face off against rival Heritage Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
