Volleyball Recap: Olathe North Continues Road Dominance on Monday + How To Watch

Olathe North won the last time they faced Olathe East and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hawks. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Hawks on their court since September 24, 2019.

Among those leading the charge was Julia Huxman, who had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: Olathe North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 11-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Despite the defeat, Olathe East saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Stella Ruble had 11 assists and six digs.

Olathe North's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-11. As for Olathe East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-24 record this season.

Olathe North will square off against Blue Valley North at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Olathe East, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Blue Valley Southwest on the 21st.
