Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Abes vs. Bellarmine Prep Lions

Lincoln is on a ten-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Bellarmine Prep a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Lincoln Abes will be playing at home against the Bellarmine Prep Lions at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincoln lost 12-2 to Central Kitsap on Wednesday.

Lincoln saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Grice, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Grice's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Bellarmine Prep suffered their biggest loss since May 1, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Peninsula, falling 7-1.

Dolan Wynne put in work no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Bellarmine Prep is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-6 otherwise. Wynne was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Bellarmine Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
