Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against KIPP San Jose Collegiate, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolfpack on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Wolfpack back in April, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 16-25, 15-10.

Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
