Academy for Academic Excellence won the last time they faced Big Bear and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Academy for Academic Excellence's got stronger as the match went on, holding Big Bear to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-21.

Brin Bryant paced Academy for Academic Excellence's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bryant got some help from Colbie Tworek and her 24 assists. Tworek was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with four each.

Academy for Academic Excellence has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Big Bear, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-7 record.
