Soccer Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Heritage's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Broughton Capitals by a score of 2-1. Heritage were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Broughton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Heritage's goal came courtesy of Charlie Gutekunst, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Heritage and nudges their season record down to 1-2-1. As for Broughton, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage will take on Middle Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Broughton, they will face off against Green Level at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Broughton's defense better be ready for this one: Green Level have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season.
