Soccer Game Preview: Redmond vs. Issaquah + How To Watch

Redmond is 1-7-1 against Issaquah since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Redmond's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellevue on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Redmond can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Bellevue are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Issaquah entered their tilt with Woodinville on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Issaquah's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Issaquah's victory bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
