Basketball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Comes Up Short

Kingsley-Pierson lost against Newell-Fonda back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers were outmatched by the Newell-Fonda Mustangs and fell 73-36. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Mustangs are ranked 50th).

Kingsley-Pierson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Newell-Fonda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Kingsley-Pierson nor Newell-Fonda have any future games scheduled.
