Basketball Game Preview: Springtown Porcupines vs. Krum Bobcats

Springtown hasn't had much luck against Krum recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Springtown Porcupines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Krum Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Springtown was beaten by Decatur 86-27. While losing is never fun, the Porcupines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 854th, while the Eagles are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Krum played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Bridgeport and fell 83-33. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-17.

Springtown's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Krum, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
