Baseball Recap: Centralia Panthers vs. Bowling Green Bobcats
Centralia never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Bowling Green on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Bobcats. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Cole Higginson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Higginson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Bohlmeyer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Anthony Ford was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
Centralia's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bowling Green, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Looking ahead, Centralia will be playing in front of their home fans against Battle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowling Green, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Louisiana at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
